BIOENERGY SILO
MAFA is a Swedish company that develops, manufactures, designs and delivers equipment for the handling of pellets. We deliver customer-specific silo solutions in bioenergy, always according to the customer’s wishes and needs. Today, we are Europe’s leading silo manufacturer and have solid knowledge and experience. Each customer and their specific needs are unique, which has led us to develop a wide range of products that are adapted according to needs. We have proprietary system solutions adapted for pellet heating of both private individuals and private homes to complete solutions for companies (such as dairy, brewery, food production, laundry), municipalities and county councils (such as schools, hospitals and sports facilities).
Our MAFA silos are Swedish-made and have a stable construction in high-quality steel plate coated with aluminum and zinc. A quality sheet with a longer shelf life compared to, for example, galvanized sheet. Our strainers are equipped with cyclone and natural ventilation as standard for condensation-free storage.
We provide a 10-year material warranty against rust on our factory-fitted silos in aluzinc sheet.

Standard silos are dimensioned to be able to handle loads of up to 750 kg/m³. Special silos can be adapted for higher volume weights.
MAFA UNIK Small
MAFA UNIK Small is our smallest silo in the UNIK series. The silo is Swedish-made and has a stable construction. Like our other silos in the UNIK series, it is made of high-quality steel sheet coated with aluminium and zinc. A quality sheet with a longer shelf life compared to, for example, galvanized sheet.
The UNIK silo can be combined with our MAFA UNIK Screw Boxes for mass flow according to the principle First In – First Out. The technology means that the quality of the pellets is preserved with minimal separation, unlike with traditional emptying.
The silo has a large cyclone with natural ventilation that prevents condensation in the silo. The steep roof slope allows the silo to be filled to the maximum for less empty space in the silo. A gentle and even emptying is achieved thanks to the smooth inside with special bolt and steep cone. The shiny surface coating of the silo means that the heat radiation in the silo is reduced as minimal heat enters the silo.

MODULSILO Indoor
A space-saving, heavy-duty indoor silo of high quality in hot-dip galvanized sheet metal. The silo is available in a number of sizes, as square or rectangular, as well as with a 45° or 60° cone tilt. The silo is equipped with an inlet pipe on the sedan, a filter bag for venting and a flat roof for efficient use of space. The outlet is equipped with a sliding damper.
Inspection hatch and roof included as standard.
