MAFA Intermediate storage for Bioenergy
Mafa has a wide range of intermediate storage units. We help you find the right solution, regardless of whether the intermediate storage is to be filled by hand or with augers. We also have mobile solutions, so-called screw trolleys, such as our smallest silo UNS3, which works excellently as an intermediate storage unit indoors.
MAFA Micro, Mini, Midi
MAFA Micro, Mini and Midi for storing fuel pellets, or as intermediate storage for bulk handling. With lids and sensors, the storage units can be filled automatically from a larger bulk storage using vacuum conveying or traditional MAFA Flex augers.
The storage units are made of corrosion-resistant galvanised sheet. The 45° cone tilt allows the storage units to be self-emptying and empty completely.
The construction is strong, safe and functional. As standard, the storage units are supplied with an internal grille that serves as both support when handling bags or shelters as well as a 100 mm rotatable auger inlet that can easily be adapted to the different transport screws in the market. MAFA UNS3
MAFA UNS 3 is a Swedish-made silo intended to be placed indoors. It has a stable construction and is made of high-quality steel sheet coated with aluminum and zinc. A quality sheet with a longer shelf life compared to, for example, galvanized sheet. It is designed to function as an intermediate storage and is therefore not equipped with a cyclone and blowpipe. Instead, the silo has a top plate with Ø160 mm connection holes for filling. The silo has a sight glass placed in the cone.

MAFA Mobile Intermediate Storage
A Mobile Intermediate Storage for easy emptying of contents in one container to another.
With a strong grille at the bottom that can be easily removed for cleaning, special bolts to reduce the risk of material collection and inspection glass in the lower part of the cone.
The attachment is equipped with wheels for easy manoeuvring and has a robust design and is equipped with reinforcements that allow the container to be moved with a forklift.
Special adaptations can be made to the power-on to meet the desired function.
